Baoji is the birthplace of Western Zhou culture, and human's bronze ware technology reached its brilliant peak in the Western Zhou Dynasty. Importantly, tens of thousands of bronze wares have been unearthed in Baoji, which is a huge and unique number. Therefore, Baoji is called the "Bronze Ware Town" in China.First, the quantity is largeSince the Han Dynasty, there have been more and more bronze wares unearthed in Baoji area.Especially since the Qing Dynasty, the number of unearthed bronzes in Baoji increased rapidly due to the development of petrology, and Baoji became the focus of scholars' attention and research.The Baoji bronzes are now scattered around the world in museums and private collections.Ma Chengyuan, a famous bronze expert, said: "Wherever there are museums in the world, there are Baoji bronzes."There are not only a large number of unearthed bronzes in Baoji, but also many grade cultural relics, especially more bronze ritual vessels and national treasure cultural relics.Among the existing collections of bronzes in Baoji, 158 are national first-class cultural relics, 401 are national second-class cultural relics and 529 are national third-class cultural relics, accounting for 71% of the total precious cultural relics in China.A total of 36 bronzes were listed in the three batches of cultural relics restricted from leaving the country, including eight in Baoji.Among the bronze wares in Baoji Hall, there are 55 pieces of national treasures.
